ICT aid

As I was stumbling on whether ICT should provide assistance to special needs children, I did a study about it right away. This book review utilising information communication technology to assist the education of individuals with Down syndrome came out from the website by Bob Black and Amanda Wood.

According to Black and Wood (2014), technology has definitely changed the lives of down syndrome children with the sound, images and animated graphics that brought to life. I definitely agreed with them, with the integration of ICT to change lives by enhancing special needs children motor skills and inclusion in the society. There are various software available globally specially catered for them, they could also contribute to their community and be acceptable by people. With the help of ICT, students with diverse needs are met.

This book will help children with Down syndrome in many ways like improve their communication, language, numeracy and writing skills. Not only this is a cure for Down syndrome to adapt to the society, children with learning disabilities are also included with the aid of ICT.
